Been using Threads for a bit - decent number of verified accounts already and activity. Seeing some sports reporters posting news. Looks like Twitter.

This looks like a viable alternative, especially for what I will use it for - sports and news.

This one is pretty simple: I legitimately find almost everyone in the twitter debate annoying and overbearing. The whole thing is basically proxy for the same stupid partisan bickering that has invaded everything.

And we don't really need a twitter type thing anyway. Like the world would be better without it. At least for political/social/discussion. That part needs to go away.
