The Buccaneers (1-10) travel to chilly Tallahassee today to face the Seminoles (1-9) at 1:30 p.m. eastern time on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX). It may potentially stream on ESPN.com or ESPN+ but I can't get any confirmation of that.

This is the first game this season where an opponent has a worse overall record than FSU does.

Weather Report: Sunny, highs in the mid-60s, no chance of rain, light winds out of the northwest.

GO NOLES!

And I believe they're also a Division II school to boot. What could possibly go wrong?
In this season, anything.

I reflect back on my years in school in Tallahassee, and recall something like a 23 game losing streak over 3 seasons. Yet, even that team took Alabama to the wire at their Homecoming game during that streak.

This team may be worse than that.

FSU always schedules a lower-division opponent the week before the gators game. It's intended to rest the starters and not get anyone hurt.
I always throw diss at a “big time “ school Playing lower division teams.
It is a money grab and we have had injuries happen becauseof those games.
Jordan Travis and the loss of a title shot wave hello.

And yet...

Jordan Travis suffered a serious leg injury during a game against North Alabama while playing for Florida State University; he was carted off the field with a fractured and dislocated ankle during the first quarter of that game.

Travis got hurt because the offense was already starting to break down, we just didn’t want to see it. He took matters into his own hands because we started that game playing like shit. Seemed to happen to the dynasty teams against Wake or Maryland and someone would always come away injured.

That said I don’t mind the cupcake game in November. Students are gone and it gives families a chance to go without breaking the bank and/or going to a rowdy drunk fest. As well as when the weather is good in Tally opposed to September when it’s godawful hot.

Hense, if they're concerned their players will get hurt, don't play the game.

*Hence

I guess they should've scheduled the powerhouse Troy instead. Right?
You got me there. I guess it's kinda strange SEC tends to play these types of teams later in the season, whereas Big 10 usually first part of the season.
