Maybe but they're generally not going to call it that way. If they'd touched it on the initial bounce or something like that, definitely. But dude kind of slid into the endzone with the ball. Even though he touched it before it crossed the goal line, refs never call it that way. We'd have a lot more safeties in football if refs "played the ball where it lies", so to speak.

Take what risks? Qb looks really uncomfortable when he drops back for a pass. It’s not a high risk high reward situation. Stratton is simply not a great qb. I don’t think there is much chance unless Sully is good enough to play the 2nd half.

I am personally calling out the AD, head coach, staff and players. You should be ashamed of the product you have put on the field the last several years. We have put no emphasis on NIL and have been passed up. You have kept an inept coach that is clueless on what it takes to have 3 phases of football executed at even a normal level. The defense is SOFT this year, at every level, the offense has improved despite the deplorable QB recruiting. Thank gawd for Kaleb Johnson.
It is time to decide whether we are committed to having a top 20 program or being mediocre and paying the head coach north of $7M to do so..
Hire an elite coach, elite defensive coordinator, bring Doyle back. The players are SOFT as hell!
Commit to $10M or more in NIL and go when some games playing tough football. The current state of this program is embarrassing!!!! Fix it NOW!!!!!!
