Things got even better in the 3rd & 4th quarters, when Iowa simply wore out its FCS opponent.

Note the yds/rush in the 1st quarter (2.1). Iowa ended up with 6 yards/carry.

Okay, so, what do we attribute the complete 180 on offense to? Lester’s adjustments? Better execution by the players? Both? Something else?

This is the offense we were hoping to see.

95% execution. The plays were there in the first, Cade was just not in sink and throwing the ball late. People forget the dude hasn't been fully healthy for 2 1/2 years. Looks like a different guy in the 3rd....

Yeah, after looking at that throw again, likely not the best choice. Cade was off balance and just kind of chucked it up in traffic. We're lucky Vanderzee is 6'4".
