I found that second half to be extremely entertaining. More of that please.
When Seth Wallace cracked a smile during the post-game interview about the message to the team at half time, that told me the coaches absolutely tore the team a new asshole in the locker room, and it showed that they got the message in the 2nd half........
The 2nd quarter offensive numbers were much better than the 1st qtr.
Things got even better in the 3rd & 4th quarters, when Iowa simply wore out its FCS opponent.
Note the yds/rush in the 1st quarter (2.1). Iowa ended up with 6 yards/carry.

11 1st downs in the 3rd.........over the previous two seasons, in any given stretch, it would take us about 3 games just to get that many.
crazy that 17 of the 23 first downs came in the 2nd half.

I get it, BUT how many times has a poster on this site said something along the lines of just throw it up to that 6'4" TE (or whomever) and let him make a play. So there it is...
The entire 4th should have been Sullivan's to QB. When CM gets hurt and SULLY has to come in, coaches need to look in the mirror as to why #2 has no play time.
