We're running to the outside more now. Our offense is trying to get first downs with passes with adequate yardage on occasion. Still not converting them enough. That is improvement although the bar wasn't that high obviously.
Btw, can anyone remember the last time Iowa threw a pass to a wide receiver running a route with the intent of getting some YAC?
Yeah but I’m pretty sure, after years of watching KF’s offense, the staff would figure out a play that could beat the blitz.
How would we know? 1 drop on a ball that should be caught but not a spiral. Another thrown way beyond Brown
It was. Yes his hand did touch the back of the WR but it did not change or affect the route. Perfect play

This is what happens when Phil's defense gets figured out. They can't adjust and it's just a matter of time before the other team scores, and we end up looking like any other pedestrian "keep everything in front", "bend don't break...but we break anyways" defense in CFB.............
