Russian air defense in the occupied cities of Donetsk, Makiivka, Mariupol Ilovaisk and elsewhere are firing wildly into the air. Extremely peculiar. There are rumors especially around Mariupol that Ukraine is using a new weapon.
You say that, but don’t quite grasp that your guy wouldn’t have gone. He wouldn’t have ever stood up to Russian aggression. He’d have laid over and raised his hind leg to Putin.
Hopefully we bought up some 7.62 rounds and 152/155 mm shells, and delivered them to Poland/Romania to ship across the border.
Honest question, could Russia pull this off? They have 1500 troops there, but could they hold their areas and extend to control a fairly large airport? I don’t see how Russia could project force in at this point. All their airborne troops have been shot up. They’d have to fly over NATO or Ukrainian airspace.
If the anti-air are put in place, it would be an easy way to knock down 100-200 troops per plane

While horrific, I think it will only be pictures like that which drive home to the Russian people what is going on and what will happen to their sons, fathers, brothers, and uncles. Hopefully pictures like this will foment action among the college students which are now to be mobilized.

No underestimation, it's expected so no extra special platitudes. I can't imagine the logistics of POTUS going into Iraq or Afghanistan, let alone a modern European country at war, either. The fake air raid sirens after all the warning to do nothing were a bit much though
You mean the one that pushed NATO countries to start ponying up their share before it was too late? What Putin do from 2017 to 2020? I know it's hard for you to grasp, I'm glad he went. He SHOULD have (the point) and probably sooner.
