I can't wrap my head around the kind of operations the Wehrmacht managed to run in 1941-42, crossing huge amounts of terrain and still somehow getting beans, bullets and gas to their guys to keep it all going.

Excellent point about NK stockpiles, and their ability to replace munitions sent to Russia. Given the high failure rate of NK munitions I doubt they can successfully squeeze more production out of their arms industry.
