I think it’s likely to the point of certainty that there’s currently an Ohio class attack sub tracking every one of those right now.
The pain is real 😢
Correct. Though most Ohio's, these days, are tomahawk platforms and less nuclear ballistic missile launchers.Clarification. Ohio's are boomers. The Typhoons would be being tracked by Seawolf, Virginia, or LA class subs.
He’s not wrong about Bone Spurs. Why do you make such silly statements?
Probably because they’re ill trained conscripts being used as canon fodder…and they’re 18.Remind me again why we are supposed to feel sorry for the 18 year old russians that are cruising through residential neighborhoods, firing indiscriminately
If I didn’t have an open mind I wouldn’t engage on this board and I have never denied there is ten feet of sleaze inside that Beltway. And they all walk in it.Ok, so you don't have an open mind. I tried.

OMG!! Bingo!! You nailed it!! Now, please for the love of all things holy, apply this to Trump, Ted Cruz, and pretty much every single Republican in power who has bent the knee to Trumpism. This is today’s Republican Party. These evil assholes do this daily. Just use Ted Cruz…every time he talks about the Democrats he’s doing exactly this!!Newsflash...if you’re accused strongly of doing something by radical actors on one side it’s often to deflect the spotlight on the fact they themselves are doing the same or worse.
Stop being naive.

Hey Sean - trying to stay relevant?Might be good for the Oscar’s crap ratings…
If you think both sides aren’t sleazy then you have the problem not me!"Both sides"
Maybe, for like the hundredth time, compare Republican vs. Democrat administrations over the last 50 years as far as indictments, arrests, etc. and tell us this is a both sides thing. Hell just compare 4 years of Trump to Obama. It. Isn’t. Comparable. Please, Goldie. If you think both sides aren’t sleazy then you have the problem not me!
Some of them did horrible things.BAU through history. I had friends in 68 who were ill trained in jungle warfare. They were 19.
From a diplomatic side, these folks might be right. I just think they are being overly optimistic that Putin can be negotiated with here. Under no circumstances will Putin agree to something that is a clear defeat for them, which would be to withdraw from all areas of Ukraine. That's just not going to happen. It seems that Zelinsky might be amendable to handing over the Donbas region and Crimea as part of a peace deal, but I think that is a mistake because then the Russians effectively do win. It certainly gives them something to spin. And the next time (there will be a next time), I doubt there will be a completely incompetent Russian military to fight against. I have to think that there will be a purge after this embarassing display by the Russian military (or not, you never know how autocrats are going to react).I think Biden has done a great job to date, but he really screwed up here. Macron is right. Judging by the scrambling and backtracking everyone in his administration knows it too.
These guys make the point I was making in the other thread, much better than I did:
However, some foreign policy experts say Biden's comments could escalate tensions and make a diplomatic end to Russia's invasion of Ukraine even more complicated to reach.
Richard Haass, a veteran diplomat and president of the Council on Foreign Relations, told the Post that Biden's remarks don't achieve the priorities of "ending the war on terms Ukraine can accept, and discouraging any escalation by Putin."
"It discourages Putin from any compromise essentially — if you've got everything to lose, it frees him up. Why should he show any restraint?" Haass added. "And it confirms his worst fears, which is that this is what the United States seeks his ouster and systemic change."
Haass told Politico that while the White House immediately walked back those comments, the fact that Biden's comments were off the cuff "could be read as Biden's genuine belief as opposed to his scripted words."
Michael O'Hanlon, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, told the Post the remarks make him concerned that top officials in Biden's administration may not be thinking about ways to end the war.
"If they were, Biden's head wouldn't be in a place where he's saying, 'Putin must go.' The only way to get to war termination is to negotiate with this guy," O'Hanlon said.
That’s an…. implausible statement.Hopefully this is a sign that we sent them some modern defensive equipment.
"It was said that 60 missiles were fired only in Lviv and shot down 52. Arestovych said that 80 and 72 were shot down. What is happening in general?"
Sign a treaty to such ends, as the Austrians did post-WW2.How can a country be bombed into neutrality?
