Goo many people in this country value guns over children's lives. Until that changes we will have to deal with this on a regular basis.
I'm not sure how to stop this. Put the parents in prison for allowing kids access to firearms? Eliminate social media? Get rid of violent video games? Drug all our kids?

Unfortunately, there's no way to stop school shootings completely.
There are more guns than people in the United States...getting rid of them is impossible.

The only way I can see ending school shootings would be to confiscate guns. That's basically impossible to do.
So the next best thing would be to get more security at schools and more background checks for gun buys.
Those are the only things I can think of at the moment that would lower the slaughter.
By my calculations, they do seem to be making things worse.
They didn't stop this shooting, but that doesn't mean that they won't stop the next one! Let's do nothing and see!!
Prayer could have stopped tons of catastrophes and we'll never know this side of the veil.
