After a hard fought win at Wisconsin the Hawks return home for the Gophers. Although this game is at home, Minny has a lot going their way.

1. After the emotional Wisky game, can the Hawks refocus for Minny? Need to prevent a let down, this sets up as a trap game.

2. Gophers are coming off a bye week. Two weeks to prep for the Hawks and get healthy. You can be assured they will stack the box to stop our run game. Can Deacnn and our WR unit have a glimmer of a chance to make some plays. Why not use one of our larger freshmen WR,s? Please do not let Ragaini run another jet sweeo. Same as last week, we need to stop there run game, both their QB and RB. Not going to try and spell their QB's name but he does have a solid TE and WR target.

3. We continue to take hits to injuries. Starting 2nd string QB (who hasn't shown much), top three TE's are out, OL is dinged up and now Black is most probably out on the DL.

Fans will have to bring it and make it hard on Minny's offense.

C'mon Hawks, keep it rolling. Driving over Friday, "The Swine is on the Line".

Our QB is going to have to make some plays to win a game at some point but I’m not sure it will be against Minny. If we run the ball like we did against Wisky we should be fine.

I have complete faith in Iowa against the gophers. They'll be row, row, rowing their way back to Minnesota Saturday night with yet another loss to the Hawks.

control the line of scrimmage and put pressure on Kaliamanis. Iowa will roll through this one if they can do those two things.
