While unfortunate and not a desired outcome, sometimes you have to give up something to save lives. I am pro Ukraine and want the war to end. I can see Russia dragging this out for another 2-3 years. The needless slaughtering of young men and women on both sides would continue and nothing would be gained by either side.
Would you supply them with weapons the previous administration would not? If so, why would that be different now vs a fe months ago? What would be the reason we held back these weapons for 3 years?

I don't see how Russia could drag this out for 2 more years. They are depleted in cannon fodder, cannons, tanks to launch artillery from and missles. Not to mention generals.. Yet Putin doesn't care how many body bag his boys come home in.
They just had a war paid for for 3 years. They are also going to have a new industry built for them and the protection of us being there from Russia.
