I loved watching Aaron play here. One of my all time favorites. I wonder if he is as popular with the European fans as well or if he is just the American on the team.

He seemed to be a fan favorite while he was with Zalgiris. Have no idea regarding the others. His short stint in Milan didn't seem to work out very well, hope he gets back on track in Greece.

When you look at the current Iowa career scoring list, I think sometimes people forget how many were coached by Fran.

1 Roy Marble...2,116 (4 yrs: 1986-1989, 134 GP, .539 FG%,, 15.8 ppg; 26 three pt goals)

2 Aaron White...1,859 (4 yrs: 2012-2015, 140 GP, .517 FG%,, 13.3 ppg; 61 three pt goals)

6 Roy Devyn Marble...1,694 (4 yrs: 2011-2014; 136 GP, .415 FG%,, 12.5 ppg; 134 three pt goals)

8 Matt Gatens...1,635 (4 yrs: 2009-2012; 128 GP, .415 FG%,, 12.8 ppg; 239 three pt goals)

12 Luka Garza...1,559 (3 yrs: 2018-2020, 96 GP, .542 FG%, 16.2 ppg; 76 three pt goals)

16 Peter Jok...1,508 (4 yrs: 2014-2017, 125 GP, .413 FG%, 12.1 ppg, 216 three pt goals)

21 Tyler Cook...1,315 (3 yrs: 2017-2019, 93 GP, .542 FG%, 14.1 ppg; 3 three pt goals)

22 Jordan Bohannon...1,310 (3 yrs: 2017-2019, 112 GP, .390 FG%, 11.7 ppg; 284 three pt goals)

23 Jarrod Uthoff...1,298 (3 yrs: 2014-2016, 100 GP, .450 FG%, 13.0 ppg; 137 three pt goals)

How rough is it to have to play on the Canary Islands, and then move to Greece?

I don't think the tattoo looks like the old capital on the pentacrest. Maybe it is, tho.
Anyway, in the video he was crazy good! Who takes a 1 on 4 fast break and slams it down??!!!!!!

You’re looking at the wrong part of the tattoo. There’s a house on the top and the old capitol on the bottom.

Well done Aaron! You have always been a champion in the eyes of Hawkeye fans!

Helped turn the program around and ended up as the program's #3 all time scorer.

AW is having a solid overseas career. I suspect he's done reasonably well financially as he's been able to hook up with higher tier teams and probably avoided the issues that we've heard about with the sketchy organizations at lower levels.

Is it normal for American players to change teams so often over in Europe? Can they only legally play in certain countries for a limited time? Or is the movement a result of monetary inducements?

I'd love to see Aaron in a NBA uniform, but as time goes on, I realize it is a fleeting reality.

I don't pay enough attention to know if it's normal to have frequent team hopping. For the Iowa players that I've known about that does seem to be true.
Agree that it's unlikely he'll end up in the NBA at this point. The guy will be 29 in a couple of months. Hard to see a league team taking a 30 year old "rookie".
