I popped over there recently to have a look, and lurk a bit. Those mods are way over involved, and maybe a little too into themselves.

That site is easily, and it isn't an exaggeration, the most over-moderated message board on the internet. I told the site manager/lead moderator that it is the Saudi Arabia of message boards. Some of the moderators are good people but they have to play along with the heavy handedness. Some of the moderators are complete asswipes and enjoy the opportunity to hassle people in a way they couldn't in real life.
