*****Wisconsin vs Iowa Game Thread*****

Extremely hard to win games with this kind of D.

47 first half pts for Wisconsin.

Wisc is shooting better from 3 than from 2.

How Wisc got to 47 pts:

6-10 (60%) from 3
11-19 (58%) from 2
..........................
17-29 (59%) Overall

7-9 (78%) FTs

Brock playing a great game. But his form for his shot is, well, not good. He shoots from his chest. Tough to control not going up with the ball.

And Iowa at 43
14-25 overall
3-9 from three
11-16 from two
12-14 FTs

Fun half.

Only down 4. Anyone's game!

As good as we could have hoped for after Wisconsin started 4/5 from 3pt line.

Was it Perkins that left Chuckie Hepburn unguarded twice at 3pt line...didn't see it happen after Harding played PG.

We have some guys that don't play with any energy on defense and they were shown up by Pryce Sandfort, Freeman, Dimbele, Harding.

Too bad refs don't alow Iowa to defend the post. Always a bailout call by refs if Wisconsin either on the shot or the rebound.

Brock had his best half of BIG season. Good to see.
Tony sick? Big 2nd half from him would be useful.
Storr is a problem.
Good job on Wahl by Payton.
C'mon Hawks!

We need better leadership from Tony.

It was a freshman who gave Iowa the huge spark.

First half minutes:
12: Tony (0-3 FGs, 2 pts, 2 assists, 1 turnover)

8: Brock (2-4 FGs, 6 pts, 2 assists, 0 turnovers)
I agree about TP leadership. Some games he plays lights out and some games he is in la la land. First half today he is out of it and a detriment.

Tony got beat on two back door plays. No excuses for that.

Brock and Pryce gave us a nice spark. Play the young guys.

Seems like Wisconsin made all their shots in the last 5 seconds of the shot clock.
