I think the opposite. I think this worsens Trump's chances. Biden is calling for calm and unity. Trump will very likely try to turn himself into Jesus. This also highlights all of Trump's disgusting rhetoric about violence. It pushes that conversation front and center
Most people who are indifferent about voting this year in a text thread have expressed this about the current meltdown by friends who vote R faithfully claiming he is a lock now in November.

There is no telling what they were angry at. My take is someone was probably yelling something inappropriate and they all became angry because their guy almost got murdered in front of thousands.
The story will be Biden would have died when the secret service landed on top of him and Trump had to be forced to leave.
I read in another thread biden said the other day that democracy was on the line this election. Hopefully that didn't incite some mentally ill person to make an assassination attempt to save the democracy amirite
