They are slooooowwwly pushing LA Knight in that direction...
At this rate Knight might face Roman in 2025. Guy is over as can be. Solid workrate. His stuff is high impact but safe. Keeps his nose clean unlike Orton and Bro. The hesitation with his push is baffling.

Well, with Cody going over Lesnar, LA Knight winning, Gunther dispatching of McIntyre,Rollins defeating Balor(thank god),even though it wasn't "clean" which it should have been, etc..This week's Raw and Smackdown "should" be key turning points in building toward next year's Wrestlemania..I'm hoping more than I'm expecting...though..

My guess is Lashley and The Street Profits are going to get the next big push up the card over Knight. There really isn't a great matchup for Gunther except maybe Rollins or Cody. Knight vs Gunther would be solid for both guys.

Yeah, hoping for a Gunther vs LA Knight series of matches... I'm a fan of Gunther and I'm glad he defeated McIntyre.. He should get a bigger push..LA Knight vs Gunther has alot of potential in my opinion.

Well it isn't happening. Knight is Smackdown. Gunther is Raw. My guess is Knight eventually with Theory or possibly Waller. Gunther and Lesnar is what I'd do.

Knight cut his best promo on the Miz last night on Raw. I don’t know why it took him so long to get where he is today.

Knight, Drake, etc originally started in Ohio. He's admitted to playing it safe there for a number of years before making his way to California. Didn't feel as if he was all in mentally until he went there.
If you're only getting by on a look. Promoters are happy to use u to build their other talent. So he found a niche and then feared losing bookings by changing things.

If I was to make a guess. Bray most likely overdid it trying to get back into ring shape. His heart similar to Eddie Guerrero couldn't take the exercise and stimulant routine.

I'm really bummed out by this; I've mentioned it to a few around here, but I know the Rotunda family fairly well. Windham was a good guy; huge personality with a great sense of humor. I got to know him right before he started The Fiend storyline; I remember how excited he was for it, he knew it was going to be big.

AEW pulled off a great show, didn't watch it, but viewing reports the first really big time thing they have done, and the visuals were great.

WWE is firing on all cylinders as well, if TK could get his kids to play nice with each other, we could get a mini Monday Night Wars revamp, not to that level, TV has changed too much, but the biggest news coming out of London is who started shit backstage for the 17th time.

They booked Wembley for next year, it will be interesting to see the response for that, I hope they keep building but they need some adults, because 82K in the UK is great as a one-off, but next month they struggle to get 4K into the Tampa Armory for a TV taping....

Not surprised at all.
I get why it happened, but the children again are hurting Tony's business, be adults and get over yourself. Not to say Punk is innocent, but this crap wouldn't happen anywhere but AEW.

Can you imagine Scotty Too Hotty talking trash to Stone Cold on air during Too Cools match at Mania on the pre-show...then stepping up to him back-stage after in Gorilla, before Austin was about to go wrestle?

I don't think Punk has much tread left on his tires, but you give him 4-5 match deal per year in the WWE they could make some $$$.

Keeps Punk healthier and doesn't give him the opportunity to piss people off every week.

Why now. Why not a year ago :). Time for TK to grow up and start treating it as a business.
AEW just pulled off their Wrestlemania 3, and what is everyone talking about? The great matches...no, the record crowd...no, Tony letting the junior high backstage antics of his EVP's and their Pals end the run of the biggest draw he had...YES.

Luckily, Daddy has more money and the Bucks are still there to make thousands turn the channel in the states when they are on TV.

I don't like most of their product, but don't want them to go away because they are another place to work, but it's really hard to like anything about AEW.

Naw, man this is on Punk. The EVP had nothing to do with him and Perry getting into a brawl. EVP's also didn't have Punk physically threaten TK. There is something mentally wrong with Punk. That he's willing to risk millions of dollars over his ego.
TK should have fired all of those iceholes last year. Don't care who is at fault. Literally it's schoolyard horse manure. Guys such as Mox, Orange, Danielson, Miro, Kingston, Claudio,Cole etc have put in a lot of years. When they ger made fun of or ribbed a brawl doesn't happen.
