Damn. Whats her NIL deal like?

Noted. BUT, its the flair she plays with that is driving this unprecedented interest in womens hoops and Iowa specifically. Do you really think without Clark, and the way she plays that Fox would have had Iowa's WOMENS game to start off their quad of games today? Not a chance in hell. There are times you'd wonder if Bluder would try to rein in Clark on the bombs and some of the outlandish stuff she does. No way, because she wouldn't be the same player with a leash on. Show me a handfull of college players (women or men), who could do that catch, behind the back dribble and step into a 30ft jumper, and swish, or the consistency she has on that step back.As great as she is, way too many low percentage passes every game.
I agree with you about that one specific foul that Haiby drew on Davis... but overall I don't think the reffing was lopsided today. Sub-par, yes -- lopsided, no. Take away the FTs we shot at the end of the game and we still got to the line more than them and were called for less fouls. What is wrong with officiating in today's sports? They just act like zombies blowing the whistle ahead of time regardless of what might happen (i.e., everytime Halbey of Nebraska drove....and charged, whistle!! The last one on Davis was just out right ludricious.....Davis wisely anticipating Halbey going to charge into her...just steps back and never touches her as she goes sprawling....Whistle foul!! Pathetic all around officiating that favored Huskers most of game as they pushed, hand-checked, jumped over backs and pulled on arms.
It was but damn, that call she made was awful.harsh
Not lopsided but weak - the girls would be arms straight up and get called for a foul. The officiating was terrible overall..to say the least.I agree with you about that one specific foul that Haiby drew on Davis... but overall I don't think the reffing was lopsided today. They're man D is atrocious and they work hard at it. Both things can be true. What is wrong with officiating in today's sports? Iowa for most part played pretty well on defense. The statement previously that they are atrocious man D is just stupid if you watch how hard they are working.
But dumb passes and dumb Clark logo shots kept Nebraska around. Nebraska is a decent team....can't stand them just because of gbr cult of course.
I for one will not complain about what shots Clark does or does not take. She deserves every inch of rope she gets and takes. She is incredible and at this pace most likely player of the year. That play she made putting the ball behind her back on the fast break to avoid the defender then knocking down the 3 is something you just don't see in the women's game at the NCAA level. She was 5-12 from 3 which is pretty respectable. The surprising shots she missed were about 3 or 4 down by the rim. 33 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Let it rip Caitlin. What is wrong with officiating in today's sports? And that pace now has been for THREE years. Right there for player of the year for all three. Led the nation in points AND assists per game last year, which had never been done before. She is 2nd in both right now I believe, and within striking distance of both again. Boston the gal from S Carolina who won it last year, and some think is the front runner again is averaging 12pts/game and 9 rebounds. Clarks numbers dwarf hers, but she gets the benefit of being on the undisputed top team the last two years. Thats why its so important for Iowa to stay in at least that top 5 to ten range to eliminate some of that bias.I for one will not complain about what shots Clark does or does not take. Boston vs Clark.....now that would be fun 1 on 1 matchup to watch.....a 6'5" vs 6'. And fouls would be called. And that pace now has been for THREE years.
