Take away what AJ is off the mat, if you had the chance to bring the on the mat wrestler in for a few years and a top recruit sat behind him why would you not. Bring any and all in and make everyone earn it. Besides if give a solid summer heads up I believe AJ could find his way to hwt if need be.
What exactly is your problem with people that don't share your opinion?

But his own comments on social media about CStar kinda didn't help.

If anyone wants the action, I’ll bet GA is an AA this year. Proceeds to the HWC. Freshman wrestling up a weight that AA don’t grow on trees. GA 4X AA and makes at least 1 finals appearance, book it!

Great match. He dug deep and found a way to win. His ability to get in on legs when a guy is staying away is impressive.
Gotta appreciate Chapman though. Love guys willing to take a shot and bump up weights to try and take out a stud.
Not especially impressed with Ludington there. He pulled it out but it was vs a guy bumping up and he got rode a lot vs an undersized guy and the refs were pretty kind as well. We absolutely need someone for 1 if not 2 years as he doesn't look plug and play ready. Barr and/or Mirasola will be beating him like a drum.
We know what will happen……. NOTHING!!! Most of the realists on this board realize that something needs to change but all know that nothing will actually happen. As we all know, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity but it is exactly what we have!!
He will probably RS and be the guy in 2 years. High school kids aren't gonna look great every match. Go watch a few more matches from Super 32 or who's #1. He will be good
It’s a valid point. If he went about his business quietly, he would be supported and respected more.
And that goes for most athletes, IMO.
Outlandish guarantees, throat-slash gestures, “pissing on graves”, you name it — not going to win you favor with anyone but a faction of your own fanbase. But if the goal is to have people talking about you, we all know that stuff works. And everyone should be prepared for and accept that a lot of the ensuing talk will be negative.
Get what you earn, right?
Time will tell but Chapman is ranked 10th at 175 by Flo. #1 190 should be wiping the mat with #10 at 175. I know he has some national results but I don't think 190 is an especially loaded weight either. Hopefully it was just a bad match.
Full credit to Chapman for taking on the challenge, again. He also bumped up last month to face Ludington. Ludington majored him that match.

I’m incredibly sick of hearing about Gabe’s comments about CStar. He’s a confident young guy who was excited to take his shot at one of the greats. That’s it. The number of people trying to act like it’s a big deal or that it says something about his character is incredible.

It’s not incredible in the least, and — as I pointed out — it isn’t limited to Gabe’s examples. Talk smack, expect people to chirp back. This is pretty universal stuff.

He beat Chapman 16-6 earlier in the season. Chapman is also a guy who can beat anyone and lose to anyone. He is hard to rank because of that
