The only way it could be done, is in a season where we have ISMoo at home and 5 home games in the B1G. That would preserve the 7 home game floor.

We have ISU at home when Iowa has 4 home B10 games so that we can have 5 at home in the years we play at ISU. With your scenario we'd have to go to ISU during a season where we had 4 home B10 games leaving us with 6 home games again.

If CSU deserves special gold stars for being remotely in the game against Alabama, then Iowa shouldn't be playing them on the road.

Why? I love competition & challenges. Now Iowa football is too afraid to play teams on the road like the b-ball team won’t play UNI & Drake on the road.

Colorado State is getting Patrick O'Brian from Nebraska at QB. I think he will be gone by 2021 though.

Impossible. This would trigger the next Great Depression. No program can survive with only 6 home games every fourth year.

I’m completely fine giving up a home game to play a quality opponent in a recruiting hotbed. Playing at a mid major like CSU does not fit that description.
