3/4 Other Games Thread

OT possibly?

Duquesne really turned this one around. Richmond was up 9 kinda early in the 2nd half and seemed ready to run away with it, but DU held in there and looking like they're gonna win.

Ugh, that brings back bad memories of Iowa's 4-out-of-5 game losing streak between the end of Jan and early Feb. Had a big-ish lead in all those games, but gave it away to lose.

Richmond given a gift by DU fouling the 3pt shooter...... and he misses ALL 3 FTs.

Ouchy

Duquesne wins.

Wasn't Richmond considered a near lock for the Big Dance like 2.5-3 weeks ago? Or am I thinking of someone else?? Not so much now, if was them.

They were hanging their hat on beating Kentucky and I think Loyola. They’re probably out for good with that loss.

This third game is for those who like watching a guy be hotter than the sun.

Watson for Dayton just can not miss. Good lord.

Watching the last game of the day in the A10T, and they called a 'ticky tack' foul.

Color guy: "Its a ticky tack, I get it. But you can't put a hand on the cutter."

What is this rules nonsense he's talking about?? The cutters in the B1G wouldn't know what to do if they didn't have hands all over them or someone tugging on their jerseys the whole time.

I think Michigan is going to absolutely destroy Izzo and the Spartans. If they blast them enough, they can knock them out of the "Last 4 in."

Who should we root for?

I posted this in the Bracketology thread.

Iowa remains a #2 seed, per Bracket Matrix.

Purdue moved up to a 4 seed. Wisconsin dropped to a 7.

Note below that Alabama moved from 6th overall to 5th overall (as a 2 seed); Iowa remained 7th overall (as a 2 seed).

B1G teams & their projected seeds are in the LEFT column below.

Rooting interests: We not only want Illinois & OSU to lose, but check out the teams starting with Alabama, West Virginia, Houston, etc in the right hand column; ideally these teams lose, too, this week and next.

Thursday's games to keep eye on:
Michigan State at Michigan
Oklahoma State at Baylor
TCU at West Virginia
Iowa State at Texas Tech
UTEP at Kansas
Nebraska at Iowa
Texas at Oklahoma
Arizona State at Colorado

Also, if Michigan wins EITHER today or Sunday, they clinch the B1G Regular Season Championship by winning percentage

For personal reasons, I would like to see Michigan State miss the NCAA Tournament. I know the next two for Izzo don't mean nearly as much as the BTT games. A good showing there, even if they drop the two to Michigan, they'll probably be in.

There needs to be an NCAA Officiating Dept that oversees ALL Division I officials to make sure that the RULES ARE APPLIED across ALL Division I Sports

And if referees don't make the calls to enforce the rules, they get publicly reprimanded

And if coaches don't follow the rules, automatic technical fouls. Stay in your box Izzo or get T'd up because you know why? It's a rule.

March is my favorite month by far. Warmer weather, longer days and nonstop basketball.

Have the Richmond game on my split screen at the desk.

Kansas with a late season layup playing UTEP tonight for some reason. That was the plan anyway. 34-20 UTEP at half.

sparty was garbage on O tonight. Couldn't throw water in the ocean in the second half.
