But do we know which part was the lie? Why does everyone assume it’s his recent statements rather than past? Not that this site is a bastion of honor, but yes it does change things.
Well, Bob, that’s how I roll. I’m conservative af.$10k is way low
So, what’s the money stream for this new scholarship allotment? Do schools just lose that revenue? How many schools won’t go with new cap?
Did NIL bring this on? What’s the reasoning?
There’s a total of over 750 new scholarships available to schools with teams in all sports listed. That’s 7.5 million if a scholarship is worth $10,000.
But do we know which part was the lie? Why does everyone assume it’s his current statements rather than previous?
Just saying…..
Btw, I realize my numbers are low. So, sioux me for being a conservative. You’re not much for businessy type stuff, are you?
$10K? $7.5M? Iowa already funds nearly double that in scholarships with current limits.
Call me old school or naive, but grad school acceptance should be hard. Hope they aren't doling out grad acceptance just because they're a good athlete. No idea what department they are seeking grad admission either, but competition for slots can be high. Are they hoping for scholly money, NIL money, a funded TA or RA?? Still have to take GRE?Grad acceptance does take longer than undergrad, but it shouldn't take this long. Feel like the chances are getting slimmer by the day.
It's a bait and switch @el dub. All the Powers did was change from scholarship limits to roster limits and equalized the two. That was part one. Part two, they decreased roster sizes for Title IX reasons, and allow themselves the opportunity to limit more of the roster going forward. Part three is that while the roster size is hard and fast, the scholarships given are entirely elective. Part four is that individual schools can do anything they want financially as long as they keep the roster size to 30. Most won't do anything different.Btw, I realize my numbers are low. So, sioux me for being a conservative.
And please explain the sudden rise of scholarships available to be offered and economic affect on the universities.
I find it hard to believe these admission issues with athletes. A call from Tom to the AD and AD call to the head of admissions to fast track these 2 through. Boom done.
Carl was HOT about that one. It's tougher than you think. Pencil necks prevented Evan Wick from coming to Penn State.

These boys must not be brain surgeon😉. They are only going to grad school to wrestle a year for use, so I’m sure they are not trying to get into the nuclear physics PHD program!Grad acceptance does take longer than undergrad, but it shouldn't take this long. Shucks, my kids school is 80k a year. Thank goodness she just got a sweet NIL deal. 500$ a year!!10k is one semester at Iowa, and we’re a cheap school.
There seems to be a LOT of that going around. Why does this particular case matter?Because you’d have to be an imbecile to believe the most recent claims. Oh and he effectively already copped to it.
Damn, this was a pretty good prediction back in JulyWishful thinking but why not!!!!
