Nope, but I know all of the skills necessary to survive at airports for long periods of time courtesy of Tom Hanks in 'The Terminal'.lax I always assumed you lived at the los angelas airport

Being a skinny dude from Chicago, Chi-Town SLIM used to be my gamer tag when I first got into online gaming (SOCOM).
A Brody Grothus/James English compare and contrast might be good for a page of comments ...
English had a double major in chemical engineering and energy, business and finance. He was an academic All American and a five-time academic All Big 10 team member. He missed two full seasons due to various injuries. He returned for a sixth year even though he had already graduated and was not guaranteed a starting spot. His first post-season appearance was in his sixth year. His record heading into B1Gs that year was 8-3. Penn State would not have won the NCAA team title without his improbable All American finish.
I'm not knocking Brody Grothus in the least. He's a talented wrestler and seems like a fine young man. But in what way is his story "better than James English's"?

Was that pre or post Pong days?Purchased my first computer in 1985, a shiny new Tandy 1000SX from Radio Shack. Games came on 5.25 inch floppy disks. When starting my first MMO in the mid 90's I had the decision of picking a screen name. Happened that Blue Oyster Cult's Godzilla was playing on the radio. I have been using Godzilla or Zilla in my screen names ever since.
Back on topic. I was thinking of seeing the new Star Wars movie. Anyone know if Brody Grothus saw it, and did he like it?
Awesome! I've been trying to get the "yutes" (My Cousin Vinny reference.....) I work with turned on to some Pong when they keep talking about whatever the hell it is they talk about in regards to current gaming! So far they ain't buying it!I could play a mean game of Pong on my Atari prior to the computer.
Ok I just spoke with my agent and I am in on one condition. The undercard must includegablefan vs fleming24 in a Pay-Per-View fight, who's your pick ?
For the slower folks in the crowd (i.e. the non-Hawk fans who lurk on our board), AF stands for Air Force.I graduated high school in Iowa in 1986 and joined the Air Force...thus AFHawk86. Simple but not very exciting.
For the even slower posters...86 is short for 1986.I graduated high school in Iowa in 1986 and joined the Air Force...thus AFHawk86. Simple but not very exciting.
You're talking to us from the future?!Speaking of the Star Wars movie, we're going this weekend. I have a friend who was the first one in line for the midnight showing on the 18th. We live in Japan and we're a day ahead of the US, so technically he may have been one of the first in the world to see the movie on the release date. One of his sons is "home" for Christmas and he said the movie was very good, but the highlight was spending 8 hours waiting in line with his kids. They played games and spent time together minus distractions.
This friend was selected for promotion to Chief Master Sergeant on Thursday so it was a banner week for him. Promotion, family, and Star Wars!

I have so many questions and I'm sure others do as well about tomorrow. So we can reserve at the very least the next page to asking AFHawk86 about tomorrow.
Me 1st. Can you PM the winning Lotto #?
I have some family in town that wants to turnup tonight like we did in our early 20s... does my name appear in any news stories or police blotters?
Thanks in advance... or thanks from the past as it may be.

Well, of course you are the youngest. There are only 5 other posters (men in their fifties) with ten aliases. Its quite simple, i've been reading these forums since I was about a Freshman/sophomore in HS but didn't decide to start posting until I was a freshman in college. I attend school in La Crosse, commonly referred to as Lax, and I wrestled 174 while I was still competing. The hawk comes from being a hawk fan I'd also venture to guess that i'm probably the youngest person who posts on this forum. Could be wrong though.
Oh, sure. It seems obvious when you spell it out like that, but for the longest time I was convinced you were a former wrestler with the initials GG who went 121-2 in his career. Went through a few old Iowa rosters looking for you, too.
