McCabe is tough as nails. Good defender on the perimeter and in the post.
Marshall can't start if she's going to go 0-6 from three point range. Better options in the lineup at this point.
Probably better to see what she can do off the bench for a bit.
While I totally agree that she has struggled, I wonder if that would wreck her confidence. Only the coaches know that answer and maybe that's why she continues to start. She does do good things defensively but even there I noticed she has been a bit out of control with her closeouts.
Could just be a cold start to the year, too. She was money in the tournament run.

Yeah. Maybe give her the starts until Big Ten play to see if she can shoot out of the funk.
At some point you’ve got to do what’s best for the team. There’s going to be plenty of games in conference where you need someone on the floor who has at least a chance to make a couple, and that isn’t her right now. She’ll be a liability in important games
She carried us in some important games last year. For some reason when the lights are bright she tends to show up.
Who starts the game is totally overrated. I would agree that her minutes might need to come down, but she's not the player you want taking a lot of shots anyway. Clark is gonna get most the shots. Gabbie's role is to play defense and set perimeter screens on offense.
I will say that Bluder does need to be careful with what the lineup is when Gabbie is out there. Having both Gabbie and Affolter out there together is tough. Clark needs to have at least one other shooter out there to space the court.
Carried is too far, my fault. Clark carried. But she played well in the sweet 16 and elite 8 games.
I agree that if she's playing like last year, she's important. She's just not playing like last year unfortunately.
Look back further -- she was 5-8 from three against Georgia in the Round of 32. We would have been upset at home, again, without her.
