Colorado stayed in the game last year by 3's from Forman. In the last 2 games I have seen of Colorado their offense is very meh. My guess is beating teams by bullying down low and pounding the boards. Even still lots of losses this year. Maintain offense pressure in 3rd quarter and this game could effectively be over. Get the lead up to 20 and it will be incredibly difficult for Colorado to have enough offensive firepower to come back.
Not many contested. They didn’t seem willing to actually help off and give up the assist so CC had some pretty easy layups
Caitlin still not getting as clean 3 ptrs . And both Forman and Nolan hit 3sfor Buffs—let’s hope their shooting touch doesn’t heat up. Like the focus on points in the paint and at least Gabbie & Kate each got a 3.
5/7 isn’t bad and her shot is looking good (especially for getting beat up inside). She’s come a long way with them over the course of the season and she’s making them in a tourney game no less right now
Just when I forget how much I appreciate the way that Bluder, Caitlin, Kate, Gabbie, Hannah, and all these Hawkeye women carry themselves and exude grace in victory, along comes Angel Reese to remind me. Thank you, Angel.

Big key for Iowa is keep feeding Hannah. Both of the bigs for Colorado Sat most of the half with foul trouble. They are Colorados biggest advantage.
I think if we can get some solid minutes defensively from AOG that will be huge as well. They’re a load for Hannah to guard.
If there was any question as to who the face of women's college basketball should be, these two back to back games should answer that question.
