Great match for Ayala against DeAugustino. Being able to get out quickly recently is a good sign. Hopefully he doesn’t depend too much on that slide by though, could see it getting scouted kinda like DeAugustino did to counter it.

I don’t think he easily beats Arujau who beat him in freestyle. IIRC they split in folkstyle about 10 years ago:/ Neither is dominant on top so the freestyle win for Arujau might hold the most water. It was close and getting dated at this point as well. I’d consider him the favorite but not in the same way Spencer was.

I'm looking forward to the day when Spencer Lee gets healthy or reasonably healthy and ragdolls Nicky Transfers in a meaningful Freestyle match.

I really, really hate how our guys wrestle in bottom, and love Drake’s sit out. Most of our guys’ first move is to sit motionless and put their head down.

I agree and still consider Suriano the favorite. He knows how to win tactical matches. Little head gear pull here and get your hand raised

Spencer got pissed at him in their team trials fs match, not sure what happened but Spence teched him shortly after. Lol
Spencer gave him the " that will teach you" look end of match.

With Spencer out Suriano easily wins 125 imo

I believe Vito would disagree and possibly few others would argue the easy part.

I have enjoyed watching Drake. He is going to be a solid contributor. Freshman lumps along the way but he has really impressed me. I like his motor and by all accounts is a good kid with a great attitude. Only way I could be more bullish on him is is a blue singlet. He isn't Spencer but he is darn good.
