It's not a conspiracy, the leaders of BLM are literally self-described Marxists. They want to defund the police and think that capitalism is anti-black. This is not a conspiracy theory.
Most leftists have the thought process of a child. That is why they are leftists. There is a reason why people tend to be more liberal when they are younger and grow more conservative as they age, mature, start paying meaningful taxes, etc. Littlez is just par for the course when it comes to leftists.

The effects of kneeling would be an even further divided fan base. This thread is all the proof that is needed. I don't think that's what the administration would prefer to have happen.

Should we judge all of Minneapolis police by the actions of one man and a couple of guys on their first week of training. Heaven help is if we judge other professions by the actions of a few people. There isn’t too many cops that can justify or will justify what happened. I’m gonna guess you are still good going to church or to the doctor despite the actions of a few people in that profession.
Who cares if the fanbase can’t agree? It will have no effect on the Iowa football team or their ability to win games.
Now if certain fans boo the team openly because of their choices to kneel or otherwise, then there will be a war in the stands. Best have your head on a swivel or you might be tumbling down the aisle if you can’t keep it to yourself.

This is entirely true. However, it really only applies to the BLM organization, and the “Black Lives Matter” slogan is far more widespread now than the organization that invented it. Most people who use it nowadays use it to express their opposition to racism, not to advance a socialist agenda.

It’s going to be really tough to figure finances based on so many factors. First, is there even going to be a season? If not all schools will be in huge financial trouble. 2nd, 40 or 50% capacity I’m not sure you can actually make any money either. Fundraising, or donations, looks to be a fair amount on here that will just not accept the kneeling and won’t either attend or give money. That’s totally your personal choice. If it was business as usual (no corona) I’d really like to see what the effects are of the no kneeling crowd. As of now we seem to have moved past the Doyle fiasco, addressed the issues and recruiting seems to still be moving in the best direction it’s possibly ever gone. I think most from outside the program seem to be viewing how we’ve handled this very well. Clearly nobody after 9 pages is going to change their mind about kneeling. Guess only time will tell.
Go ahead and boo during the anthem then if you choose and leave no doubt to the rest of us how patriotic you really are (not). To most of us, that’s far more disrespectful and unpatriotic than taking a symbolic knee. And no I won’t be pushing and shoving anyone in Kinnick but prepare to be verbally destroyed by most fans if you decide to make an ass of yourself in public.

I would never do anything disrespectful during the anthem as opposed to those who want to make a personal political statement while its being played.
