Actually, Pensacola, FL has more snow this winter than Des Moines, IA. 8 inches vs 4 inches. Same difference between your dad and I

We were in Sedona and Grand Canyon area in early October. It was hot in Sedona, nice in the Canyon area, but I wouldn't mind wintering near Sedona, or maybe Flagstaff.
