They showed they have zero quad 1 wins. Don’t really care, we need any and all wins. Get us clearly off the last 4 in to maybe a 8-9 if we finish strong.

Obviously getting in is priority one but I would like to avoid the 8/9 seed line.
Good defense keeps you in the game, particularly on the road. Iowa's perimeter defenders are all strong. Even McCabe has gotten a lot better.
I am not sure like calling the timeout after a basket and advancing the ball. I get the logic, it gives you time to set something up and a turnover is not right at their hoop. But if you go full court the inbounder can run the baseline, and you can have one of your options sprint to the ball from half court (more difficult to cover). It just seems like it is a lot easier to get the ball inbounds.
yes, but is much better than earlier. Hopefully it keeps improvng. Young team on the road, inconsistency is a huge issue still.
It might pay dividends if Fran asked Jan to spend a couple hrs with his team to teach rebounding. A couple hrs would do wonders.
The contrast between the men and womens teams on this front is pretty startling. The women's team is "small" to boot and still gets the job done. Total team effort....emphasis on effort.

It was a weak spot last year and multiple years before that. I'm not sure if it's one of the new coaches?
Randi Henderson is married to Duez, and had him on her staff. That's 2 degrees of seperationn from Tom Davis. The Tom Davis teams loved the bounce pass and tought rebounding.
