Agreed, but it's never pretty this time of year. Just scrape out the early wins ugly and get better by January. Needed that win though.

FSU has unreal athleticism. But they have no shot selection. If that comes around, they'll make some noise in their conference.

That's the most athletic team Iowa will see this year, but Iowa needs some serious work blocking out as they're terrible at it.

I strongly disagree. FSU is a solid team, as good as anybody we've played so far. They're young and will make mistakes. They'll only get better as the year goes on and it will be a pretty good win for Iowa's resume.

I agree with this. I think these guys win a lot of games in the ACC and this has a chance to help us in March.

Not that good? 39 on kenpom while y'all are 20? 20? Y'all would get obliterated in the ACC. ACC/BIG challenges are garbage. Y'all would be destroyed year in and out versus the athleticism you'de play twice weekly. We don't have a true PG on our roster. Think about the offenses with actual PGs, and better athletes than what we have in the ACC....

I'm thinking the Marquette win will be pretty similar. Very young team that will only improve throughout the year. Both could be really solid looking wins at the end of the season.
