****FSU vs Iowa official game thread****

Got to hand it to Jok. Kid wants to win. Not afraid of the big situation. Nor is Gesell (even if that off the backboard pass was a bit embarrassing). Where the f was Uthoff in the last 5 minutes of regulation or in OT (until the FTs at the very end). Setting screens, making absolute zero effort to touch the ball. Disappointed with his desire in the moment.

I think Uthoff is probably the most skilled player Iowa has had in a long time but he really disappeared tonight. I really want to see him be the go to guy and get to the basket rather than taking fade aways.

I think we need to realize that Utoff isn't comfortable being a ball hog and he isn't going to shoot 20 shots a game. Jok, on the other hand, isn't afraid to gun and is capable of scoring any time he touched the ball. He isn't as consistent as Utoff, but I think he is our first option.

Ummm, he's actually President Obama's brother-in-law. (Craig Robinson)

BTW, I wonder if he has the Secret Service accompany him when he does games

I thought he was ok, though his pregnant pause on occasion was cringe worthy. There were a few times he would start a sentence, find himself unable to put the necessary words together to complete the thought, and just end up bailing out and ending prematurely. This was pretty evident during the halftime discussion. I would have thought my TV was frozen, his mouth agape, but everything else was moving in the scene.

Man, we looked like crap but we got the win and that's all that matter. We need to address quite a few things.

And Mike was playing way out of control last night.

Agree on the skilled part. would disagree on his fade aways though. He hits them at a rate higher than most of our other players hit normal shots. So he's the only one im ok with doing that.
