I am honestly shocked that 3/4 court puke didn't go in.

Illinois held this shit team to 37 points for the game. We give up 61 in a half.
-27 from 3 in the first half. Never seen anything like it. That kind of disparity from 3 is impossible to result in anything but a blowout.

The schedule doesn't matter. Iowas already beat plenty of good teams this year and they will continue to do so.
Bad games happen on the road. Msu got blown out here, Maryland got blown out at Iowa.
It's all irrelevant.
Iowa is a good team with a very good resume.
Iowa is getting in the tournament with no question about it.

To be fair, we are also playing like garbage. We’ve given up 8 offensive rebounds on 13 missed shots. Not a good night for the DEff rating
Purdue would be a top 5 team if they were capable of playing like this regularly.
Unfortunately for them this will likely never happen again this year.
When poor shooters hit everything it looks really good.
I never said it was a normal game for Purdue. What I said is that Purdue came out in the first 5 and out hustled Iowa on Offense and Defense. And they did, they literally had 3 offensive rebounds on one possession. Iowa had to pack it in to rebound which opened up the 3 and, of course, Purdue caught fire from 3. See current blowout.

Good strategy by Paintet to exploit Iowas biggest weakness. Rebounding out of the zone.
I have a feeling this was the game plan to send everyone to the offensive glass.
Most coaches won't do that. But they might against Iowa after watching this.
At the end of the day, the Hawks can at least look in the mirror and be grateful about their hairlines.
Like I said, playing out of their mind. Every thing they’re throwing up is going in. It’s not just 3 pt shots either.
