Hypothetical Rotation...

The ball sticks too much with Joe T.. Iowa is best when it’s flying around. Uhlis moves it pretty well and defends.. I’m not giving up on Joe T in any way but Iowa needs to be careful with some of these rotations.

I'm not opposed. I'm just ready for a change at PG. Slide JBo to SG and have him come off the bench. Just my opinion.

Matchups permitting, I would like to see Iowa start a 3-guard lineup of Uhlis, Perkins, and Joe T to go along with Garza and either CJF or Weiskamp the rest of the way. Bring either CJF or Weiskamp off the bench along with CMac, JBo, Nunge, K Murray, and so on.

Start games with quickness and energy. Start games by being physical with the other team's guards. Those three guards will only play maybe 15 minutes a game, so they can be aggressive and fly all over the court. And I'd use a tight press when they were in there--94 feet of hell, as the folks in Arkansas used to call their full-court defense.

Minutes might be a bit more limited for JBo and another player or two, but it's not about minutes, it's about production. Less, as you know, can be more.

I don't expect it to happen, but after last night, I would make this change for the rest of the season . . . again, adjusting for the opponent when/if necessary.

Wouldn't you love to see Joe T, Uhils, and Perkins gettin' after Dosunmu and the rest of the Illini from the opening tip? Get physical. Get all over 'em. Send a message that this is a new level of Iowa basketball.
