That was pretty much every Nelson Brands match vs a decent opponent. It hasn't changed and probably won't.

Like I said, his matches were weird takedown battled because neither guy was especially talented, and he never gassed. He could barely move today. I know for a fact there's been an especially bad sickness going through the room, so based on context clues I'm willing to give the guys the benefit of the doubt.

I agree. I think people get this wrong all the time in situations like this. Eli Manning is a football example. Two time Super Bowl champ beating Tom Brady both times, top 10 in the major passing categories. That resume is excellent, but because he's not as good as Peyton, he's seen as less good than he was.
