******Illinois @ Iowa Official Game Thread******

Individual and unit grades:
A: Hooker, Recinos, and Special teams coverage
B+: Secondary (CBs + safeties)
B: Stanley, LBs
C: OL (pass blocking brings up their grade), Receivers
D: DL, LB, RB
F: Taylor

We looked much better last year. In retrospect, with a bunch of new coaches etc, I suppose we shouldn't be so suprised. Kinnick just willed the Hawks to a great game against the psu. And BF did way too well against isu, leading to enhanced expectations.
We'll have to scrap for every win from here on out.

A guy returning in his first game from an ACL injury should be the last player to take the blame for this dumpster fire.
I'm not blaming him for anything but the poor angles he takes. Not sure where I blamed him for anything else. Could you show me?

Just remember we had a veteran offensive line coach who produced great results and moved him over the defensive line so that the coach's son could coach the o line. Then we hired a veteran offensive coordinator and moved him to the o line where he has never coached so that the coach's son could be the coordinator. Lastly the defensive coordinator made the decision to start Taylor over Hooker today which raises serious questions about his mental stability. It's not the players.

Does any other college team run an offense that is evem remotely similar to Iowa's?

Alabama used to, but with 5* athletes. Now Alabama has an athletic QB so they've moved away from it. I said this last year and got laughed at, spread offense is where it's at these days.
