Hire a legit offensive coordinator instead of your son whose resume isn't even in the vicinity of qualifying him to take over a power 5 offense?

Just remember we had a veteran offensive line coach who produced great results and moved him over the defensive line so that the coach's son could coach the o line. Then we hired a veteran offensive coordinator and moved him to the o line where he has never coached so that the coach's son could be the coordinator. Lastly the defensive coordinator made the decision to start Taylor over Hooker today which raises serious questions about his mental stability. It's not the players.

Switch to spread offense and recruit dual threat QB's and speedy athletic receivers. With Illinois and Mizzou in our backyard and recruiting connections in other big northeast states this shouldn't be too hard. Also you have to bring in young guys with energy and passion that can live and breath recruiting.

I like Brian, but when you step back....it is a little rediculous. Iowa is a top 25 program on average. Probably could get a decent O Coordinator.... IDK

Also, what does that say about our defense. This bend but don’t break shit gets old. We let every team get their yards, and then hope to hold on, regardless of how good the offense really is.

Lose today and you might as well shut it down. Recruits will jump ship, shit will spiral. So close to what could have been this season.
