4 TOs?!? Sit him on the end of the bench!

For those keeping track, Valencia beat Oklahoma State 82-78 a few days ago.

It's still the off-season so everything comes with a pail of salt. But given the massive question marks going into this season, so far I'd say the exhibition results are: encouraging.
Illinois beat Valencia 105-60.

Pretty sure Illinois and Iowa got Valencia’s B team. They have more than one team, and I think Oklahoma State got their A team.

The Illinois game was streamed so I got to watch it. Valencia was not good.

A dose of reality is always good. It’s good to be playing and finding a baseline of potential results.

Yes. Perhaps it doesn’t tell us how good these Hawks are. But it does tell us the pecking order a little. Players know who the dudes are.

Illinois played against a Crudeli Academy team. Not the team that Iowa played against. Crudeli has their schedule up on their website:

The team Iowa played against was the same organization that OK State and Nebraska played. Might be different players like you said, not sure how many teams they have.

Minutes would be great for all players. 11 boards or 4 turnovers have a lot more meaning in the context of minutes played.
Box score I saw didn't have minutes. Looks like Patrick and Mulvey didn't see action. Laketa and Kingsbury saw very limited minutes.

Based on output I'd assume Bowen, Perkins, Payton, Dembele, and Freeman started. And Harding, Dix, Pryce, Brauns, and Krikke came off the bench.

Patrick and Mulvey are not there. From previous reports, Patrick was hoping to join the team for the final game of the trip.
