That’s why Feurbach is on the floor. She really can do everything. She just doesn’t have a scorers mentality.
On a sidenote, Iowa may still stub their toe here but they keep talking about Kansas hanging around… Well, they’ve hung around down 10 to 17 basically the whole game

Feuerbach with a couple of impressive blow bys for layups. Liking her more aggressive game this year.

I’m not trying to be a dick here but I don’t get what some people watch… There’s that Feurbach again and Kansas is shooting 36% from the floor. They are going to make some shots guys and they are going to get open from three point range from time to time.

Hell at least until Afolter gets her legs under her, Feurbach may be our 3rd best player!!

I have seen small samples of Heiden but she is a good shot blocker and poised on offense

D was much better in the 4th. Did a great job switching on screens, which they didn’t do in the 3rd.
OK, here’s the rundown….
I thought the announcers were very fair about this Iowa team, but they tried hard as hell to talk Kansas into this game and I don’t think they ever closed under 10 from the first quarter on.
2nd Nichols is a hell of a player & had 26 points, but she shot 33% 6-18 & had 4 TOs
3rd Feurbach is our best defender & 2nd best athlete behind Hannah!
Finally KU isn’t a great team but like Drake & Va Tech, they are a likely tournament team and we stifled them all game. Big win!!
This was a great defensive effort regardless of the naysayers!

Do the announcers know that Sioux Falls is on the Iowa border? Big congrats from them for Iowa fans travelling so well.
