Frans lineups are crazy at times and for gods sake hire an assistant/defense guru to coach the players up, what ever your teaching fran is not working.
Never ending joke. Besides 111 vs HBU, 83 was Michigan's season high (vs ISU). We will never reach a sweet 16 under this one dimensional coach. He is just incompetent when it comes to teaching D and rebounding.
Wrong. Play like every possession matters foul until midnight develop some bitchness please.
It's a 12 pt game that was a lot closer than that. Bitch if you want, it was a game effort by a wounded, shorthanded team.
Fran doesn't like it when other teams come into Carver and do that chit..if you want to teach them defense, make them play man and pull out the bums that get burned. Chippy fouling when you are blown out on road just teaches how to give up 100 pts.
I think Connor has improved a lot.

About as good as expected considering the talent that Michigan has. It’s a bad time in the B1G to be average though.

D wasn’t great but overall effort was fine. Past Fran teams would have thrown in the towel in the 1st half. It’s unfortunate the injury bug hit this team because it really could have been a pretty good season.
They've been on the road for the past 3 weeks against darn good teams overall, they are tired, yes it'll be better at home and MI won't make every shot they take.Defense better at home?

um is the better team, no question. Still, I expected offensively more than just Garza playing 1 on 5.
Defensively, well that was pretty much back to old form as a team in the 150s or worse as far as defensive efficiency stats.
Still a loss was expected, so the end result is really no surprise.

I saw no quit tonight — these are normally the 30-40 point road losses we’ve seen.
We actually made 35 FGs to their 32 but they hit a lot more threes 10-3, were +11 on made FTs and +8 on the glass.

Bet he goes against Joe T in practice and probably preseason runs, and relishes it. I’m telling you Joe T is making everybody better just by being as cock-sure tough and fearless and fùck you as he is. He enters the game there is a noticeable energy and toughness bump, he leaves and the balloon deflates.

The biggest problem I see is that Iowa has a gaping hole at the 4. Ryan K is hit and miss and Pemsl brings zilch to the table. Going small and putting Connor at the 4 is the way I’d go as a coach.
It's disappointing - to say the least - from a defensive standpoint that Mich went from scoring 43 against UL to 100+..ouch.
And Michigan gave up 58 vs Louisville vs 91 for Iowa....ouch.
That’s the criticism I’d have tonight. He and Bakari were in the game really disrupting things and they were getting their hands on balls. We were hanging in there getting within 8, then Fran pulls them both. We never got closer.
Joe T is one junkyard dog. This was a game we needed him checking Simpson.

They put up over ninety points tonight. Fatigue is not a factor.
