I never thought Payton had more than a 1% chance for NBA. Players that shoot are a dime a dozen in the NBA. The rest of his offensive game is not much. His defense is subpar for NBA (that says alot). Just MHO

He has developed some crafty shots and is a willing passer and rebounder but just would get steamrolled

Yep. He's been able to hang in with other Big Ten guards but tonight he's having a real problem.

offensively he hangs, defensively every PG in B1G outside Braden Smith can back him down into the lane. He need's help,
but Fran plays 2-3 other guys that needs help.
