USC only has 5K fans at home....lack of fan support hasn't hurt them. I have been expecting 10-10 in B1G play and we are still on trend for that. Even if this team were able to make it
to NCAA tourney, the teams that do knuckle on close wins and make runs all play hard nosed defense.
He gets out of control when he has to ramp up to top speed on offense. He's not an NBA player IMO.

Normal Iowa defense, USC at 79 with 8 minutes left , You cannot win against teams with a pulse if You refuse to even put a shred of effort on the defensive and and glass, Iowa is soft serve soy Betas . Yeah, they remind me of that Oregon team that blew out Fran's Garza-Keegan team. Big guards shut Iowa's guard down, and it didn't matter that Garza had 40 pts.
This USC team is type of teams that can make Sweet16 if their shots are dropping. They just aren't good enough shooters to do that
most games unless they are playing Iowa.
Dillard didn't have the scout tonight, Gaten's did, so Matt is the coach that talks the most with Fran on the sidelines, it's not that the other assistances doesn't say anything, but mostly they just set on the bench and stays quiet, per Fran on his radio show last night.

Payton is not really shooting at an elite level on season. He needs to be hot for rest of B1G.
