Great early season game. I will be interested to see how our centers hold up. Need to get out and run….VaTech would like to slow it down.
I think you can pretty much count on the officiating being below the standard of play.
The good news is since it's basketball, there's virtually no situation when she'll say "yeeeeaaruds."
It's amazing how bad officiating is in women's basketball. With the increased viewership they are going to get this year they won't be able to hide it like they usually do.
Really good move by Bluder starting small ball against VT. Totally threw them off. It sounds like VT isn't very deep so run, run, run.
Agreed. She looks to be in better shape this season. More mature physically.
Davis is fine versus lower competition but she always gets blown up against real teams. Terrible defense and two fouls
Only when you hit the basket. We are not close on many of these shots.
No guard play besides clark and take Stuelke out scoring has been tough
Goodman looks really slow and her help defense is really bad. She's going to have to improve a lot. I realize she's young.
Iowa didn't play very well that quarter. If they ever find their shot then this game won't be close by the end. I did like the way Steulke looked though.
