The only thing that matters is Iowa beat ISU when they played ISU. Doesn't matter how good ISU fans think ISU is playing now when push came to shove during the game Iowa came out on top.
Does Iowa State have a top ten defense now? Unless that happened they’re still not on Iowa’s level.
Looking at their record... Didn't look like they beat anyone either.. Texas Tech was their best win.

You may LOL all you want but the offenses in the B10 are poor. It is easy to look good defensively in a bad offensive conference. Hawk fans are going to scream bloody murder if they run the table with a CCG win and don`t even get a sniff at the playoff. This will happen because SOS is strongly considered.
The Big 12 is not a good conference, that's been validated the last few weeks. The point still remains, Iowa's defense is better. Sucks to be .500.
Congrats on the win, getting to 3-3, which is what isu scored in Kinnick and lost. Deal with it and quit playing what if scenarios.

ISU gave up 42 points last week to an average Oklahoma State team who managed 12 measly points against K-State today.
ISU has a vastly improved defense but they are not better than Iowa. Also, there are some bad teams in the B1G Ten but I don't know where you're getting the offenses are so poor. The offensive numbers are just grossly inflated in the Big XII because the defenses are just that shitty from top to bottom. You guys might have the best defense in the conference which is just sorry AF.
Ask Texas how good Maryland is on offense. B1G teams have scored plenty against non-conference foes.

Saw this last night and sure enough the lady in front of me today had her clone gear on in church and a guy on the other side of the aisle piped up that he was thankful for the Clone win when the Pastor asked for thanks. This is the difference between Iowa and Iowa St fans. The Iowa St fans are much more vocal because they are seeking affirmation.
If that happens Iowa’s current SOS will climb higher than its current 26 and won’t matter. Iowa isn’t CFP level but is much better than isu.

Iowa still has a theoretical path to the CFP. There are no scenarios that will allow Iowa State to get there.

I don't know. Generally speaking, once you get past Oklahoma the rest of the Big 12 isn't worth my time paying attention to.
