"Mocked the event?" it's a freaking 3 point contest meant for fun. It looked like he was having fun. Mission accomplished.
Because clown fan says so and because it doesn't fit with the pre-approved isu delusion.
Because everybody says so. If we didn't have our guys playing in this event there is a zero chance anybody on this board or ISU's board would watch it. I'll mock this event the same as I do the NFL pro bowl, the NBA all-star game weekend, and the MLB all-star weekend. That's exactly what they are. Fun if you like that kind of thing, but ultimately pointless and meant to be enjoyed.
The 3 point contest would have been looked at exactly as you described had isu fans not shown up and behaved like jackwagons. Not that isu fans aren't normally doing this on this site but still. Then after the fact isu fans do as they always do and rationalize every way possible as to why isu didn't perform when in reality isu or one of their god like players simply aren't as awesome as the delusional isu fan base thinks they are.
Here is an idea Bryce, maybe just maybe isu fans won't be treated like the red headed step children they are when they quit acting as they do.
Now you and I both know that acting like douches is so engrained into the isu culture that the behavior will always live on, but at least don't get so pissy and be shocked by how isu is seen and treated.
You can run along now Bryce and tell us how we have this all wrong but guess what, this thread speaks to exactly what I am saying and you know it.

This is the best part, it is so engrained in the isu fan base that they can't even see it.
Why don't you make this simple for us. Tell us which posts should be ignored and while you are at it tell us all the douchy behavior from isu which also must be ignored so isu fans to feel ok about themselves.
Let me guess we must ignore what Monte and Naz said before and after the Iowa game this year right? Just like we must ignore when God himself Georges Niang grabbed wang last year at WVA correct? Year before that must we also ignore when the team captain Melvin Ejim flipped off the crowd at BYU? I can continue to give examples but no clown fan will ever admit to all the douchy behavior that comes out of isu. They prefer to stand and cheer it on because it is what makes isu isu.

Dont give 2 rat cents if your boy looked like he was having fun...dont give a crap that his mission was accomplished...he tanked it by wearing dark glasses...that in itself made a mockery of himself as well as his participation.
there are alot of ways to have fun...one doesnt have to make a joke of it as well as himself to have fun.
Should we ignore what Aaron White said multiple times during his senior year? Should we ignore Woodbury shushing his own crowd? Should we ignore McCaffery's multiple embarrassing blowups, refusing to shake hands with an opposing coach, etc? I mean there is tons of "douchy" behavior on both sides.
