I love that some people are acting shocked on social media like this is the first time they've ever realized Kim Mulkey was a bad person.
It's pretty funny seeing some of the reactions from those people and others being like, "Yeah............we've been telling you all for years."
Been one hell of a fake nail clawing match.

And she said something to the effect of “let the 2 that were jawing go at it”. What a great role model. Who would send their daughters to play in an environment like that?
I'm laughing at the people defending Reese for the hair pull and flagrant 1. Yes, Cardoso certainly knocks her off her spot but the response both times was awful.
I hate Kim Mulkey with a passion but to be fair, there was more context in her statements. She firstly, and correctly IMHO, put this on the refs for lettering it get out of hand. It was getting chippy, as nearly every championship games gets, a the refs just swallowed the whistles. Yes, she’s still trash but the media is cherry picky to make it look the worst.
Putting this on the refs make sense. If they would have called technicals for her being 5 foot on the court for long periods on a regular basis she would have gotten tossed early in the game. Refs are too intimidated by a few coaches to call it.
I think the two head coaches should have settled it on the court. Two of the classy ladies of the sport.

You can put some on the refs, but I would put some on the coaches. They are responsible for the players actions as well.
I don't hate Mulkey per say. But it's easy to put the blame on the refs and from what I seen watching the game rightly so. BUT, Behind the scenes everything you really get the idea that she tells her team to do everything possible to knock the opposing players or disrupt them any way they can. That's not basketball and the way it was intended.
In my opinion she will do everything, even bad to get another championship title.
Can't stand Mulkey. Staley's no saint, but she's a bit less obnoxious at least. If SCAR and LSU were to play again, I hope Carolina cleans their clock.

Blaming the refs is an easy target. The character of Angel when she was confronted reflects the character of the program. I have always been taught that as a coach... responsibility for everything lies with you.

How in the hell does the NCAA allow long finger nails, natural or fake? I noticed Markowski's yesterday also. At least the fake eye lashes, as stupid as they look, shouldn't poke someones eye out.
As far as the fight between Cardoso and Reese, I doubt Cordoso could catch her.

In general, if you let something go unchallenged, then it gets repeated enough, something false can become true. For instance, let's say someone said Caitlin Clark is a sixth year player and all her records are tainted because she is on the Jordan Bohannon career path. Now everyone just ignores it and let's it go... next thing you know it's being repeated on ESPN etc and 10 years from now when people are discussing Clark's college career they might bring it back up because someone respected said it but it was never challenged and sort of became fact.

Those were terrible remarks by the coach to double down on fighting even more. Terrible look.

if you watch that fight, watch the crowd, a few dudes were getting ready to jump on in from the crowd, this situation could have been a riot of major proportions with serious injury or death
Apparently you missed the dude who did jump on the floor? Not sure this should really be considered a fight. One player got pushed down, nothing else really happened other than some back and forth banter.
