Lindenwood mat assignments

Fair point. I only caught the last couple minutes and couldn’t tell who he was up against. My bad.

His “desperation attacks” looked pretty anemic, though, considering he was down 4 pts + rt. Would like to see some fire in a guy who is pursuing perhaps his last shot at seeing the mat (if he could somehow surge on Stickley and Lee has to RS.)

Fire would be nice but you know what they say about getting blood from a turnip?

Moody gets beat 6-3 by the 2 seed from Oklahoma. The okie kid looked quite a bit bigger.

I’m under the impression that Track will not allow the dashboard to be paired with Flo due to business related concerns. I’m pretty sure my source on that was solid, but it’s been awhile so might be wrong.
Track won't allow Flo to pair the tourney so that the dashoard info is displayed on the stream. But the dashboard that you see on most trackwrestling tournaments (whethere stteamed or not) with the little green and red guys is up to the tourney host to use on track's website. Only restriction is they can't export the info so it displays on the Flo stream.

Warner has previously faced Woodley and got the 5-3 decion. Woodley is no slouch but Warner should prevail.

You're mixing things not connected, so to speak. Either your source is having difficulty explaining or he knows enough to be dangerous, but not enough to be knowledgeable.

Understand first that the tournament broadcast rights do not include tournament management. FLO will push for the tourney to use the arena, but ultimately it is the TD decision on what tournament software to use and how to staff it. Either is appropriate and although Track and FLO do NOT work nicely together, it is possible to run both. I run a fairly significant HS tournament and we did it for a few years before we were comfortable enough to switch entirely over to FLO which broadcasts our event.

Next understand that neither FLO nor Track are "staffing" their dashboards - this is done by the tournament staff. FLO will provide equipment (Track does not) but not manpower beyond a management head/table and IT guy. Track does not send anyone. The guys responsible for the dashboard are at scoring tables and are tournament workers. NOTE - there are examples that don't fit the above, like Who's #1, but we are talking about 99% of your wrestling tournament productions including something like the Lindenwood Open.

So, Lindenwood TD obviously chose to run his tournament through Track, which they have done for many years and is a fine choice. Like I said before, it is possible to make it easier for the public to follow the tournament that you have sold the broadcast rights to FLO for IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY, by also adding a staffer per table to run the Arena, but this is the type of over and above that I wouldn't expect many tournaments to do. And it is still easy enough to follow the tournament by having two windows open - one with the Track dashboard and one with the Flo video and switching back and forth. Not great, but pretty standard a few years ago as we were just starting to get these options going and certainly better than what we had 10 years ago - which brings us to where Lindenwood is today.

Lindenwood is running Track without the dashboard. This is THEIR choice and anyone who tells you otherwise is either ignorant of the process or is lying to cover up. This means that they are running the tournament on paper at the mats and then entering the results at the head table. Like was common 10 years ago.

The requirements for running the track dashboard are a laptop/pad at each mat (and you need to network them). When we started running live we did this by borrowing laptops from our wrestlers or their families for the day. It's now even easier since pads are usable. We run a HS tournament with 8 mats that requires 12 stations between mats, bout boards and servers and we made the purchase a couple of years ago (approx $2K) so we don't have to borrow, but borrowing is easy enough and we managed that for years. It also requires a small amount of training for your table workers, which I will tell you that Track is more than ready to help you with and is very good at. Competent in no time. And if you use kids to do it it is even quicker. Kids you just worry about getting the green and red right since they are paying attention to 100 things while deftly managing the input. Adults will take the time to get the green/red right, but will hit TD on the wrong side and be completely clueless about how to fix what they did wrong for the rest of the bout resulting in the sometimes strange incidents of the final result coming out of nowhere.

This is not on FLO. In this regard, the TD from Lindenwood is either stubborn, weak or completely apathetic to making the tournament accessible beyond his walls. I run more than one tournament, including the collegiate level but mostly HS, and have seen examples of all 3 - and regularly.

PBS was 100% correct on this, and your buddy is wrong. And if you don't want to take the 5 minutes to read the above and understand how Track and FLO interact with a particular tournament, you should refrain from commenting on where the responsibility for the tournament being run like it's 2005 lies.

Who is that dude Costello is wrestling? Dude is HUGE, brackets say WBC not sure what school that is - Waylon Baptist?

1st. Woodley with a nice shot, has Warner draped over his back briefly, but warner fights it off for the stalemate. Warner shoots a nice double, transitions to a single for the TD on the edge. Warner rides him tough for the rest of the period. 2-0 warner.
2nd. Woodley chooses down. Warner rides him for about 30 seconds and then intentionally releases him. Woodley in on a shot, warner flattens him, goes behind for the 2, releases him again. 4-2 Warner
3rd. Warner chooses down. Woodley lets him go after about 5 seconds. Warner with heavy hands, muscling Woodley around. Woodley in on a single leg, Warner fights it off again. Woodley attempts a couple more shots but Warner fights them off for the 5-2 win.

Thanks for the summary, Chuck! Much appreciated. Glad to see Warnerov brought out the anvils in the 3rd.

Anyone know what time the finals are?
Should have them on same mat would think so be easier to follow and watch .

Thanks for the explanation. Not sure why you decided it was necessary to be a dick about it, though at the end of your post.

The last sentence was not meant for you at all. Sorry you took it that way, should have added that. You are taking the time to try to gain more knowledge about the situation albeit your friend only got you half way there. Not your fault.

Sentence was meant for internet posters who complain about issues - often like this one - and then when the facts are easily accessible to them, skim or shrug and say whatever. And then complain again the next time.

Thanks, mon.

Btw, my friend prolly explained it correctly and I just didn’t grasp it all.
