First ... Pete Jok what a shooter ...11-16 (8-11) 12-12...I thought for a while that the late John Johnson's 49 was going to be challenged. I was fortunate to be in the fieldhouse the night JJ scored his 49. Different era with 3 pointer..had there been he would have totaled a lot more than he did...still the same 42 is remarkable.

So...MVP Tyler Cook 6-9 (5-6 free throws) 17 pts 7 reb 2 blocks & a steal in 33 min...I thought this was Cook's best game...still learning but its coming.

I think Fran found also that Tyler is not a post defender. In the 2-3 zone he moved Tyler to the wing and had Pemsl or Uhl at times in the post spot.

Tyler is better going to the rim to get rebounds from the wing, vs. trying to get and hold position. Just does not understand how to get in position for the shot to go up and how to use angles. Going to be a long season, yes they'll get better but will it be enough to win games? Enough games?
