Well they could have inbouned oun Minny side of half court and attempted the same shot.
Flukey bad...but JBO was getting eaten a live in half court by the 2nd rate Minny white guy that made the half court shot. I think he must have 11 points at the half.
If Fran didn't go after Willis, shame on Fran. That guy can score.
Hopefully nobody. Would be interesting to see what happens if the team was just on some type of auto pilot and just figured it out amongst themselves.
Willis' head was above Joe's hands. 10 footer. Once he gets to his spot and takes that shot, Joe's his bitch. Joe's only chance is to stop him earlier, or else maybe someone else should be playing defense for Iowa. As it was, might as well have been a layup.
Probably already discussed in this thread, but benching toussaint is idiotic. He needs more minutes than he’s been getting, not less. JBo needs to be benched, Kris should be starting, and Perkins shouldn’t see the floor (not to mention start) until he can make a layup. Coaches are clueless.
Well jbo is getting abused. Joe was in front of him with a hand in his face. Are you watching the game or to busy typing?

He made a shot over a shorter defender. If that happened to JBo, you would call it being abused.

Good defense but better fade away shot over JoeT because JoeT only 6-0. Same shot is always available whomever jbo is guarding. DIfference is JoeT gets a lot of steals/causes havoc.
The problem with JoeT, Ulis, Perkins is they have all turned into brick layers, just like conor. Even JBO is a bricklayer this year. Horrendus shooting team right now.
Yeah, not sure about the design on that play. Lobbing it to just past half court introduces the possibility of exactly what happened. Either inbounds short and get a running three at half court or so or just pass it to the free throw line and hope the ball bounces favorably to an open guy.
This. I really don't see the team playing baby worse, if they just rolled the ball out and played without coaches. Freaking HOT GARBAGE
1-7 because they have a new head coach, a whole new system, and only one remaining player from last year. One. Eleven transfers and every single player playing together for the first time. Hawks still win this but Minnesota has no business being in this game. A team literally starting from scratch should be 2-3 years away from competing. Pathetic.

cmon. Like before the play ANYONE on here would have guessed they steal the ball and the guy would bank it in from past half court? I love all the arm chair coaches who call their shot AFTER everythings already happened....
