I'm jealous. I was just too young back then, although I certainly remember watching a lot of those guys from that era. I remember Ed Horton had a funny way of shooting free throws. Lol.

Check the beginning of my post - I didn't include obvious top ten type playersOdd. Your list would most likely be my honorable mention list.
Finally, Gatens gets a mention.1. Andre Woolridge
2. Acie Earl

4. Luka Garza
5. Jess Settles
6. Luke Recker
7. Reggie Evans
8. Ricky Davis
9. Aaron White

Clay was listed at 6'4" and probably wasn't that tall. He led the B1G in rebounding one season, and often wouldn't even line up for inside rebounding position on free throws. He was maybe 6'5? Great player. And I didn't even get my idea from you![]()

HOW BOUT BEARCAGE. HE AND LUKA WERE MAY FAVS FOR INSPIRATION. Ronnie was the greatest.I think I saw him dunk during a Hawkeye game MAYBE twice his entire career. After our senior season in high school our team played in a charity game at our high school against him, Steve Waite, Mark Gannon and a few other recently graduated players. Granted, it was a no defense pick-up style game but Carfino was a dunking MACHINE (360s, tomahawks, etc....). Too bad we didn't get more of that when he played.
favorites, not necessarily best, that I remember...
Greg Stokes (half of the twin towers)
Gerry Wright (sir jam-a-lot)
Les Jepsen (Bobells, ND)
Russ Millard (sealing the deal against George Washington in 96)
Val Barnes (10 for 10 from field once)
Duez Henderson (buddy of mine couldn't stand him, I cheered for him to spite him)
Jeff Moe (rolled down socks)
Andre Woodridge (someone will get this)
Greg Brunner (all 6'11 1/2" of him)
Ryan Bowen (hardest working player ever)
Luke Recker (daggers in the B1G tourney)
Reggie Evans (that's prime time!)
Ryan Bowen. That’s another good call.I was a little kid in the 80s, so I'll just name players from the 90s on.
1. Chris Street
2. Andre Woolridge
3. Acie Earl
4. Jess Settles
5. Luka Garza

Honorable mention: Roy Marble Jr., Aaron White, Adam Haluska, JR Koch, Chris Kingsbury
I'm surprised more people don't have Greg Stokes and Kent Macausland on their lists.
