The first job i had was a tool and die that lasted 6 month. At that time they were closing down glass plants all over the country, including the one i was working at. Took me 6 weeks to get another union job as a machinist , and the rest is history. That was the best thing that happened for me, AND never voted for a con for the next 60 years.

The parts that I find interesting is that I’ve mention I lost my job during covid a few times and no one ever seemed sorry about it.
I also didn’t vote to shut everything down when COVID was going on. Was covid even as bad as some idiots made it seem or was it a huge money grab. The guy giving us all guidance was clueless. they put the cause of death as Covid for deaths that were not due to covid. But go on and keep crying how we’re supposed to feel so much more sorry for these people losing their jobs. Both situations suck for the people having to find a way to support a family. But I’m guessing I won’t see you having mentioned any sort of sympathy to someone during Covid.

My brother-in-law just got a new job...he has two kids of his own and three adopted...he is in the home building industry and with interest rates coming down and lower oil prices it looks like the housing market is recovering...
