Sure hope she gets the $ up front. I would have been very leery on any promises by them and the court cases are making this feel even more sketchy.

There was an unprecedented virus rolling around for our contemporary times, that no one really knew how it would play out, that killed a ton of people, and gave my dad a stroke and he was vented for a month because of it. We legit didn't know if he would recover from that. I was rolling around deploying remote work software that a bunch of businesses insisted on, ones made up of MAGA owners so let's not rewrite history on this one.

But you think you had it all solved all along because you have hindsight now.

Anyway, this thread isn't even about COVID hindsight revelations. It's about people getting let go from federal jobs because the presidency has been sold to oligarchs and idiots like you think they are going to take you along on the ride. People need to get out of stocks now. Things are going to get bad. My wife at FSU is hearing impending staff cuts might be coming there due to federal research dollars drying up. My company is experience revenue loss / pause from federal stoppage on construction and cleanup jobs. The entire nation is going to find out what happens when you take a wrecking ball to federal government in as stupid away as we are doing now…and how long it can take to straighten back out.

The fun starts when everyone does figure it out. The Republican maggots will be in major major trouble. No spinning will get them out of this.

Thanks for proving my point. You didn’t care one bit about people losing their jobs during that time. In fact you mentioned your own father and how you were worried about him. If I did that in a post you’d call me selfish. It took a bit for you to respond back to me, I’m guessing that’s because you were looking for any sort of post where you showed any sort of sympathy for people losing their jobs. But you couldn’t find any. All you found were posts of fear and how you didn’t want things to open back up even though people wanted to move on and get their lives back in order or be able to find a new job instead of mooching off the government.

Anyway my response isn’t even about Covid. It’s about how you didn’t give a shit about others losing their jobs but only now caring about government workers because Trump.

So Trump was the president when a bunch of people lost jobs during covid — including you and your wife — and now Trump is president when a bunch of people lose jobs because of DOGE. Yet you are one of the biggest Trump boosters on HBOT amidst crying about job losses. Seems legit.

Actually I did. I said it sucks anytime someone loses a job. Not just for the people losing a job due to doge. That’s part of the point I was making. Moral didn’t fight this hard for people losing jobs during covid. I gave him the chance to prove it and he didn’t come up with anything.

I said she found a new job because she didn’t want to get the vaccine. That’s different than being laid off/fired. Would be similar to a government worker finding a new job before DOGE
Why don’t you do some searching. You’ll be able to see I’ve bashed Trump plenty of times. In fact I’m not even supporting him in this post. I’m just calling out all the people crying because of what he is doing when they didn’t support people during covid.
